Surrounded by friends and family - these 2 were pronounced man and wife. Afterwards we went to Two Rivers Country club at Governors Land for a gorgeous reception - with fun dancing and great food. We are having such beautiful weather I HAD to go out and shoot. Sooo I dressed up my favorite muse and took her out for about 30 minutes. Four year olds are the greatest - and her ever changing thoughts were so fun to capture. I just love this kid - too much.

Someone shared this gem on a board I read in the mornings with my coffee. :)

It so reminds why I love the time I spend with children - and why Im so eager to capture those fleeting moments.

Oh to be a child again.....

I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as an adult.

I have decided I would like to accept the responsibilities of an 8 year-old again.

I want to go to McDonald's and think that it's a four star restaurant.

I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle and make a sidewalk with rocks.

I want to think M&Ms are better than money because you can eat them.

I want to lie under a big oak tree and run a lemonade stand with my friends on a hot summer's day.

I want to return to a time when life was simple; when all you knew were colors, multiplication tables, and nursery rhymes, but that didn't bother you, because you didn't know what you didn't know and you didn't care.

All you knew was to be happy because you were blissfully unaware of all the things that should make you worried or upset.

I want to think the world is fair. That everyone is honest and good.

I want to believe that anything is possible.

I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life and be overly excited by the little things again.

I want to live simple again. I don't want my day to consist of computer crashes, mountains of paperwork, depressing news, how to survive more days in the month than there is money in the bank, doctor bills, gossip, illness, and loss of loved ones.

I want to believe in the power of miles, hugs, a kind word, truth, justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and making angels in the snow.

So ... here's my checkbook and my car keys, my credit card bills and my 401K statements.

I am officially resigning from adulthood.
And if you want to discuss this further, you'll have to catch me first, cause ...

We’re looking for cute children ages 18 months to 14 years old to model for a portrait to be entered into the contest.

Models Search Special:

$25.00 session/entrance fee per child, which includes a 20 minute model session and one image submitted to the national gallery.

Finalists will be determined by online votes. Anyone may vote. Each vote is $1, and all proceeds from votes benefit the non-profit Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. (NILMDTS.org)

Grand prize national winner will be determined from the 50 city finalists. Winners will be selected by photography and modeling industry experts.

The father fell very ill in September and the mother has been taking care of him at home, unable to work. They have 6 children total - 3 of which live in the home.

I am trying to help make just one day - Christmas - a special day for this family.

I know the economy is poor right now -but if we all pitch in just one gift - it would mean a lot.

A great way for moms to get together and get in shape!

Took my smallest 2 to a quiet little beach today. Its like my own "Private Idaho".

Not very pretty, but small and quaint.

I enjoy it there because back in the day when my oldest (19 & 18 now) were young, we spent a lot of time there as well. They played in the water and dug in the sand.

I like to think my 2 little ones are sharing their big brothers and sisters sand.

Rebuilding what was once built. I dont have pics of the oldest 2, so I have to make sure to have pics of the youngest 2 enjoying it. Maybe one day the four of them will share war stories about moms Idaho.

The children are sooo precious, full of spunk and well behaved. What a great mix!!

I had a special shoot with S today. She loves horses so her mom set it up for us to go to the local horse farm. This is one of my favorite shoots of all time. The horses and S were beautiful!

There was just a "magic" here.

Has anyone seen my childs flip flops? We know they are around here somewhere! Now she wants the ball. "Hey! Give that back" (She found her flops and sterilized them before putting back on her feet)

These 2 are bestest friends - Captain Jack and E! He chases her. She chases him. Its the funniest thing I have ever seen. Hes only 6 months and already weighs about 65 lbs. He may be a big boy - but shes still the boss.

Ive always wanted a style...something fun, funky, outspoken and ME!
But, alas, being the mother I am, Ive never really *found* it.
My style consists at the moment of the *cleanest* shirt I can find, my jeans or capris, and good old comfy Crocs or sandals. (Please dont fear - I do dress up for your weddings!) :)

A good friend posted about this guy on her blog and I immediatly fell in love.
For me - its a good dream. To see these outfits, in New York City and other worldly places no less, just makes me giggle all over.

Wow! This week has been a whirlwind!

Im so proud to say I have the priveledge of photographing beautiful wedding gowns designed by

a very talented lady named Judy Panozzo! I "played" the other day and must say these gowns are stunning- I literally gasped upon seeing them. Working with her wonderful and talented daughter has just been a pleasure!

My littlest one is always bringing me flowers - wonderful dandelions and buttercups.

She follows in the footsteps of my older 3 who used to bring me gifts as well. Sometimes bugs and caterpillars. :)

Its just one of those things I dont want to forget. ever.
